How to Unsubscribe From SortJoy - All subscribers have the ability to unsubscribe or change their personal subscription settings at any time. To unsubscribe from Mobile Texts: Text STOP to the phone number that you do not wish to receive messages from. NOTE: Message and data rates may apply.

If you believe that your contact information was collected by a SortJoy user without your consent and would like to report spam, please call 415-375-0876. When reporting any offending party, please include the contact address or number that sent you the spam, the username of the sender, and the message or first few sentences of the message that you believe is spam. SortJoy has a zero tolerance spam policy.

Your Privacy 

SortJoy may use or disclose information about you, including your personal information, under the following circumstances: • Providing you with products and services you request. • Anticipating and resolving conflicts with our products and services. • Verifying and authenticating purposes in regard to requests or changes of any personal information or data related. • For other purposes communicated to you at the time you provide or authorize the use of your information. • Enforcing our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy or other legal agreements. • To outsource any of the tasks referenced in this Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, such as customer service. • Responding to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process. • Establishing or exercising our legal rights or defend against legal claims. • Sharing with a company controlled by, or under common control with SortJoy for any purpose permitted by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. • When SortJoy believes such use a disclosure is (a) necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or (b) required by law. • In the event of a merger, acquisition, consolidation, divestiture, or bankruptcy of SortJoy.

PERSONAL AND NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" is any information that specifically identifies you, provides your contact information, or describes your relationship with SortJoy. Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, your phone number, your email address, your mailing address, and your credit card or other billing information.  

We may use your Personal Information to facilitate purchase transactions, respond to your requests and questions, deliver purchased products, ensure you are registered for Events hosted by SortJoy, personalize the Site, and notify you of promotions, Site and SortJoy company updates, news or special offers that we think may be of interest you. Personal Information may be transferred internationally if you are located outside of the United States and the information is pertinent to facilitate purchase transactions, respond to requests and questions, or deliver purchased products. Personal Information will not be used to make automated decisions.
In addition, to select pieces of Personal Information, we may collect information such as your zip code or preferences which cannot be used in and of itself to identify you (“Non-Personal Information”). We collect and store Personal and Non-Personal Information when you register to use our Site, subscribe to our email list, complete a form, register for an event hosted by SortJoy, tell us your preferences, complete service purchase, or send us an email.
If you would like to view a complete list of Personal Information collected, please use our Contact Us”  form to submit a request. You may request that we refrain from collecting your Personal Information at any point; however, refraining from providing select pieces of information including your name, email address, mailing address, and credit card billing information will inhibit your ability to complete a purchase of services via the SortJoy.com website. 
 
DATA USAGE
SortJoy or its partners and service providers may collect data regarding your Internet browser and the IP address of any device you use to access our Site. This information is currently used solely to generate aggregated, non-identifying information about the use of our Site. Our systems may record certain information about how SortJoy visitors use and interact with our Site, including but not limited to recording aggregate page views, time spent on pages, referring websites, search terms entered, bounce rate, and other information. We may use third-party applications and services including Google Analytics or similar applications to help us analyze and process such data, in which case such data will be provided to such third parties in aggregated, non-identifying form.
 
Potential Usages of your data and information internally and with affiliated third-party partners includes:  

1. Sharing of your information with select “Service Providers” that are responsible for providing critical functions on our behalf including but not limited to credit card processing, aggregate data and tracking analysis, client support, organization and facilitation services, and organization and management of events hosted by SortJoy.

2. Identification and communication of Organization tips and event updates that we think you might enjoy.

3. Usage of contact information including your email address and phone number to respond to your client support requests and questions, any submitted forms (including our Contact form), and/or to register you for a SortJoy hosted event. If you have subscribed to our email list, you agree that we may contact you with information regarding Site and Company Updates, Events, Relevant Content, and Special Promotions. You can elect not to receive emails from us at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of an email or by submitting a request via our Contact Us” form. 4. Provision of aggregate statistics, which do not include Personal Information about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related Site information to reputable third-party vendors for research and commercial purposes.

5. Provision of specific pieces of financial information necessary to complete a Purchase or Event registration transaction for Events hosted by SortJoy. SortJoy does not store financial information on behalf of its clients; however, such information is stored by our third-party payment processor. The use and storage of such information will be subject to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

SortJoy will not share your Personal Information with an unaffiliated third party unless any of the following conditions are met:

1. You request or authorize that we do so;

2. The information is provided with the express purpose of completing a transaction for you (e.g. facilitating an organization purchase or registration for a SortJoy Event);

3. The information is provided to comply with the law, to enforce our Terms of Service  or other agreements, or to protect our rights, property or safety

4. The disclosure is done as part of a purchase, transfer, sale or bankruptcy of SortJoy, Services or Assets; or as expressly stated in this privacy policy.

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer’s hard drive for record-keeping. SortJoy currently uses cookies to save your login information for future logins to our Site.

Data security is a priority for SortJoy. We use Wix to host the website and to store subscriber and customer information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SortJoy password if you have a member account.
We do not have access to individual user passwords and rely on our Service Partner (Wix) strong encryption via secure socket layer technology (SSL), to protect any Personal Information that you provide to us.
SortJoy cannot guarantee the complete and absolute security of information on our systems due to factors outside of our immediate control.
SortJoy will comply with any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your "personal data" (as defined in applicable state and/or federal statutes on security breach notification). We will notify you in the most expedient possible time consistent with legal requirements.
 
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
To the extent that SortJoy links to the websites of other companies, particularly social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and those that organize and host Events, SortJoy is not liable or responsible for the privacy practices or content of those linked sites. If you access a third party website linked to or from SortJoy, you agree to do so at your own risk. Please read their applicable privacy policies and terms and conditions.
 
INTERNATIONAL SITE USAGE AND DATA TRANSFER
SortJoy is designed for users, aged 18 and over, within the United States.  We are based in San Francisco, California in the United States. You agree that all use of personal information will be construed pursuant to laws within the United States of America. You agree that by using SortJoy you relinquish any Privacy Policies and Laws specific to your governmental jurisdiction, including those of the European Union whether different from privacy laws in the United States or not. 
 
USAGE OF SITE BY MINORS
SortJoy does not authorize the usage of our Site by “Minors” (children under the age of 18), as specified in our Terms and Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us via our " Contact Us”  " form so that we may delete any such Personal Information.

MODIFICATIONS
SortJoy reserves the right to amend or change this Privacy Policy at its sole discretion and without notifying you directly. The date of any updates to our Privacy Policy or overall Site Terms of Service will be listed so that you may always remain up-to-date regarding any changes.

Your continued usage of the Site and provision of any Personal Information after any changes to the Privacy Policy are posted will constitute your acceptance of such Privacy Policy change.
